I recovered Goldmember December 4th at 04:30 AM while I was tracking down my very newly missing GTV in 4km fresh snow to 519 Bronson Avenue, 4 blocks from me. The organ trailer made it 1/2 block before being ditched.

A small contingent of HPVOoOers went out to the Gatineau Gliding Club to rescue
a 24 foot glider fuselage from certain destruction. Juergen has plans to turn
it into one or more HPVs... Later that day, Jody and Richard rescue another
19" equipment rack. It really

happen.

Penguins in the Trees: Linux geeks go camping, July 28th to 30th, after
the Ottawa Linux Symposium.

transport of canoe and kayak by trike and long-haul transport of canoe

Sunday, July 6th, 2003, 10:00-16:00, HPVOoO'ers showed up with their
HPV's, recumbents and other creations. HPVOoO had been invited to
participate in an event by the NCC at the Canada and the World
Pavillion. Some of you will recognize the location as the place where
we tested out the APAX last October. They held a Sunday showcase of
Canadian Innovation. It was called "Two Wheels are Better than None" and
wanted HPVOoO to come and display our vehicles to the public.

The Electric Vehicle Council of Ottawa
held their Electrathon
2003.
Location: Museum
of Science and Technology, St. Laurent and Smythe.
HPVOoO piggybacked on this event and held a parking lot session open to
the public.
The
Solar
Sprint kid's model solar car rayce was also intended to happen on
the same day, but they bumped to the rain date, the following day.
Solar Sprint programme runs from 09:00 to 15:00. (Rain date: June 1st,
2003)

How many drummers can you fit on a bike trailer? Survey says 8. We met
a guy with these insane 144-spoke radially-spoked wheels. Sweet.
Richard originally set out to build a bike trailer to carry his PA
equipment. The equipment easily fits on the front half of the trailer.
I would say this was overkill...
Some HPVOoO members planned on a little outing to a local burger joint
called "The Works" on March 30th.
Jody and I brought a load of furniture
over to the new house as soon as I got possession. The next day, we did
a tool
run which included a dehumidifier.
